ZMA membership is limited to professionals in medicine, dentistry, or veterinary medicine.
You must meet both the Profession/Training requirement and the Zoroastrian affiliation requirement below.
As ZMA grows, we may refine these membership criteria.
Any updates will be agreed by the Committee, posted here, and clearly communicated to members.
Doctor (Allopathic Physician/Surgeon)- including retired
Dentist- including retired
Veterinarian- including retired
Medical Student
Dental Student
Veterinary Student
At present, allied health roles (e.g., nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy) are currently outside scope unless you also hold one of the eligible roles above. This may change in due course.
Zoroastrian, or
Non-Zoroastrian spouse/partner of a Zoroastrian, or
Non-Zoroastrian immediate relative (parent, child, or grandchild) of a Zoroastrian.
The Committee reserves the right to appoint Zoroastrians whose work advances health, science, or the community- e.g., philanthropists, scientists, or community leaders as members (e.g., Honorary/Associate status) at its discretion.
This is an allopathic network. Complementary/alternative modalities (e.g., homeopathy, naturopathy, Ayurveda, TCM, acupuncture, chiropractic, osteopathy, herbalism) are not within scope unless you also hold one of the eligible allopathic roles above.
US DO exemption: US Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine are fully licensed allopathic physicians and are eligible.
