The ZMA Book Club is launching soon: a chance for members to come together every couple of months over Zoom to read and discuss the work of Parsi and Zoroastrian authors. It began as an idea from Dr Tishtar Chindhy, who will co-host the sessions alongside Dr Zal Canteenwala.
The format will be relaxed. There's no obligation to have finished the book, or even started it. Come along, listen, share a thought if you have one, and meet other members from around the world. We expect the conversation to wander between the book itself, the wider community, and whatever else comes up.
Our first year's reading list:
Bheja Fry by Mazda Turel
What Pesi Did by Azmy Birdi
Chronicle of a Corpse Bearer by Cyrus Mistry
Dahanu Road by Anosh Irani
A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry
We're hoping to have some of the authors join us along the way.
If you'd like to be part of it, please scan the QR code below and we'll let you know when the first session is scheduled.
